Abstract

This research explores the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on medical education, highlighting its applications, benefits, and challenges. AI has revolutionized medical teaching through tools such as advanced clinical simulations, intelligent tutoring systems, AI-assisted diagnostics, and automated assessments. These technologies enable personalized, safe, and efficient learning, enhancing the acquisition of clinical and diagnostic skills. Additionally, immediate feedback and the ability to practice in virtual environments without risking patient safety are significant benefits. However, the implementation of AI faces challenges such as data privacy, high costs, unequal accessibility, and the need for faculty training. The risk of technological dependency and the potential loss of essential soft skills in medical practice are also discussed. The essay concludes that while AI offers transformative opportunities, its integration must be carefully managed to ensure it complements, rather than replaces, human clinical judgment. The importance of interdisciplinary collaboration and ongoing research is emphasized to maximize the benefits of AI in medical education.
