N2 - The aim of this paper is to propose a basic model that allows to evaluate the level of maturity of companies involved in long-distance passenger land transport. Furthermore, this paper will show the current situation of the sector by comparing on the basis of obtained average. Lastly, it will provide an action plan that will have to be followed to improve the level of maturity. To this end, information about transport management models existing in the world will be compiled to enable an analysis of the different variables included in each model and to select the necessary characteristics that may be adapted to the current situation in Perú.
