N2 - One of the problems in the plastic manufacturing sector is the low level of efficiency, this through defective products, which forges the exploration of tactics to control this index. In this context, the present investigation proposes a model of improvement of the plastic accessories productive processes, which will provide an increase in productive efficiency. After the analysis through the Visual Stream Mapping (VSM), Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and Failure Mode and Effect Analyses (FMEA) of the current situation, a low level of efficiency of the production of plastic accessories and their respective reasons were diagnosed. For which, the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), 5S and Jidoka tools will be implemented in the production processes in order to reduce problems or anomalies.
