Abstract

In Peru, MSMEs (microenterprises and SMEs) generate half of all jobs, covering almost 28% of GDP, however, due to profitability problems and lack of adaptability to change in the face of this new technological era, only 10% of these companies survive more than a year. At this point, it can be considered that the limited technological innovation and profitability problems turn out to be a critical point against this type of companies, affecting all production processes, however, the main processes related to the client, which is where The value of the products or services provided is initially perceived, such as the sales processes and delivery logistics, are two priority aspects to improve based on the new context in which customers are increasingly more informed, require more personalized solutions and are more demanding. In this context, this research work seeks to establish a model to improve logistics and sales processes in Peruvian clothing retail MSMEs, based on the use of Business Process Management (BPM) and Digital Transformation methodologies, with the objective of increasing profitability and competitiveness in the short term and thus generating competitive advantages.
