Abstract

This research work seeks to implement a predictive maintenance system in transport equipment in a surface mine in order to increase the percentage of effective utilization. The investigation begins with the collection and identification of data in the study area, later the analysis of the data stored in the Dispatch system will be carried out with the Lean Six Sigma methodology, which will allow the identification of the main causes of operational delays. present in the studied process. Once the operational delays that hinder the adequate development in the transport of ore and waste have been identified, the improvement objectives and the predictive maintenance plans for the equipment studied will be set. This research aims to improve the processes that influence the hauling cycle, in addition to the implementation of an adequate predictive maintenance system, it will be possible to improve the operational indexes of the transport equipment, as well as reduce the costs and downtime of the equipment. miners.
