Abstract

A patient's medical record contains his entire medical history in sequential order, information whose confidentiality, integrity and availability must be guaranteed. There are some APIs and medical records management systems that propose the use of blockchain technology to achieve a high degree of security. In this work, a proof of concept based on three test cases was performed to evaluate the success factors of the solution with security aspects. It was found that the solution has high information security, respecting the main security aspects such as integrity, confidentiality and availability.
