Abstract

We present a validation of the Digital Teaching Competence Questionnaire (COMDID-A), used to measure the level of digital competencies of teachers at the Autonomous University of Chiapas. A documentary review of the existing instruments to measure the digital competencies of teachers was conducted. The COMDID-A instrument was selected due to its focus on the evaluation of teachers' digital competences in the university context, as well as its adaptability to different cultural and linguistic contexts. Subsequently, a thorough analysis of the instrument was conducted, based on theoretical references and the experience of experts in the area of education. Adjustments and modifications were made to the original instrument to adapt it to the Mexican context and improve its relevance and reliability. The results obtained indicate that the COMDID-A instrument is dependable and relevant for its use in the Mexican context. Quantitative and qualitative analyzes show that the instrument is capable of effectively measure digital competencies.
