Resumen

The project titled "A Management Model to Increase Sales in a Small Hairdressing Business Based on 5S and BPMN"proposes a systematic approach to improving the business operations of a small hairdressing company. The project employs the 5S methodology, a Japanese approach to quality management based on five principles: Seiri (sort), Seiton (set in order), Seiso (shine), Seiketsu (standardize), and Shitsuke (sustain). This approach is used to improve workplace organization, operational efficiency, and thus, productivity. Additionally, the project uses Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN), a business process modeling technique that allows for the graphical and standardized visualization of business processes. BPMN is used to identify and optimize key processes that affect the company's sales and profitability.
