title = "Blockchain Based Data Transfer and Protection Framework for SMEs in Metropolitan Lima",
abstract = "Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are vital for Peru's economic development. However, they are among the most vulnerable to cybersecurity threats due to their usually inadequate or non-existent information security management systems. This research presents a reference framework that materializes a conceptual model for the use of blockchain technology to improve the security of sensitive data management in these organizations. The proposed architecture uses a cloud infrastructure that allows leveraging the properties of encryption, transparency, and easy auditing. For information storage and transfer processes, the principles of a Zero Trust architecture were maintained to maximize privacy and security in the company's infrastructure. The proposal was validated by determining the satisfaction of cybersecurity specialists and experts with the proposed technology on the relevance and effectiveness of the model. The final level of satisfaction obtained was 76.67\%, demonstrating that the project met its objective according to the evaluation of the stakeholders.",
