Guía de diseño e Interfaces de software para la mejora de plataformas web en entidades de salud pública de Lima Metropolitana mediante técnicas de usabilidad y diseño centrado en el usuario

The global COVID-19 pandemic has driven a rapid expansion in the creation of websites by government entities and organizations to address evolving digital needs. Although the efficient delivery of critical information was prioritized, many of these websites neglected usability and user experience. This phenomenon was reflected in Peru, where public health websites exhibited design and usability deficiencies, significantly affecting older adults and digitally illiterate individuals. In response, this study proposes a comprehensive solution focused on improving the usability of public health websites in Lima, Peru. Planned activities include an exhaustive search for information on current usability challenges, the creation of a specific design guide to enhance accessibility and user experience on websites for digitally illiterate individuals, and the design of web interfaces based on these guidelines, followed by their respective validation.
