Resumen

In recent years, in Venezuela, the political-economic context, between including the continuity of the regime or the social unrest, has caused Venezuelans invent and recreate a series of words to express about this event. This lexicographical and lexicological issue collects and analyzes these voices, such as majunche, pupitrazo and boliburgués. Each lexicographical entry has a definition, some etymological accuracy, a grammatical category, a sociolinguistic category, an example of use, and some lexicographical note. The data has been collected from various sources, particularly websites, and validated by Venezuelan speakers. The research concludes with the importance of collecting the different linguistic expressions of this situation as a way of consigning a reality that claims to be understood and addressed.
