Resumen

Here, we report the anticancer behaviour of MnPS₃ towards lung cancer A549 cells where approximately 50% of the cells remain viable upon a low dosage of MnPS₃ treatment. We found that MnPS₃ triggers A549 cells to generate reactive oxygen species and undergo apoptosis leading to cell death. These findings serve as a platform for introducing MnPS₃ in biomedical applications.
