N2 - One of the main problems that every newspaper publishing company faces is returns, as a high return rate leads to a significant decrease in profits. By analyzing the return rates of international and national newspapers, it was determined that the study company has a 24% return rate, which is higher compared to other analyzed newspapers, as the ideal rate should be below 16%. In previous research, the agile SCRUM methodology was applied, resulting in a 15% reduction in newspaper returns. Additionally, by implementing the BPM methodology, incomplete shipments were reduced from 34% to 14%. In this regard, it is worth noting that distribution is a key process within the editorial sector. If proper product distribution is carried out, ensuring optimal delivery, the company can increase its sales and minimize its return rate. Therefore, this research aims to create a management model to reduce this problem by using the 5S methodology, BPM, and a control dashboard, in order to efficiently manage the indicators and consequently maximize profits. By implementing the proposed solution model, the return rate was reduced, and the warehouse condition was improved. Finally, it is recommended that companies have standardized processes and utilize tools that facilitate real-time data visualization.
