Resumen

In Peru, the commerce sector grew by 3.01% in 2023, reflecting strong competitiveness. The studied company, which sells electrical products, aims to boost its percentage of complete orders—currently at 74.70% and below the 93.40% benchmark in Colombia—while improving customer service. To achieve this, the article proposes an improvement model using 5S to reduce demand forecasting to lower the 26.97% forecast error, cycle counting to address a 21.28% inventory inaccuracy, and AHP to enhance supplier evaluation and exceed the current 95% compliance rate.
