Resumen

Currently, companies dedicated to the garment manufacturing industry have as a main problem the delay in their production assembly lines, which generates high downtime. Given this problem, it is proposed to make a correct allocation of resources by performing a balance of lines based of the Hoffman model. This with the objective of increasing the production cycle time. In the same way, define a work methodology, select good working practices and develop autonomy in workers. As a result of this implementation, workers acquire autonomy to perform their work, new working methods, and acquisition of new knowledge. After the proposed improvements had been deployed, the company reported an increase of over 25% in production assembly line quality, performance, and efficiency.
