N2 - In this article, the sensitivity of computational models of plasticity and hysteresis of slender shear walls at 8 levels of seismic intensity will be evaluated. Slender-reinforced concrete shear walls are structural elements used in buildings to provide lateral stiffness and resistance against seismic and wind actions, so this study was carried out in order to indicate the variability of the error of selecting a poorly calibrated model with respect to a well-calibrated one in the face of greater seismic intensity. The use of computational models when they are not adjusted to the calibration in slender shear walls can give us incorrect results of up to 17.61% in terms of resistance and up to 44.91% in terms of displacement. Therefore, based on the achieved results, it is possible to see that the biggest errors that can be made when choosing a poorly calibrated model of a slender shear wall are in terms of displacements.
