Resumen
This study analyzes the perceptions of postgraduate students from a private university located in Tacna (Peru) about the use of digital technologies during the COVID-19 pandemic. The challenge of higher education for the continuity of teaching-learning has required students and universities to adapt to this technological evolution. This study is positioned in an interpretive paradigm. Forty-nine semi-structured interviews were conducted to collect the perceptions of postgraduate students. Students are aware of the use of digital technology and its link to communication and access to information as a means of family and friendship communication. Likewise, they recognize the benefits of digital technologies for social and academic purposes. In the social sphere, they distrust Facebook and WhatsApp for sending information to friends, family and colleagues.
